"Dr. Pompa is tiny, pretty and young. She introduced herself and asked if I had any questions. I just had one about my medication. My main concern was the heart. All I thought was I am going to make it so in the moment didn't ask what she was going to do with me. Dr. Pompa explained the procedure and said she was waiting for my blood results this would tell her what medication I was going to need. Since I take Plavix and aspirin my blood is like water.
Dr. Thomas the morning doctor was great. He was very patient with getting me grossed out at my scars and when pulling the drain he was delicate. He then explained how the operation was done; the diet to follow it strictly, gave me my folder and went page by page. Dr. Thomas was also very encouraging on my weight loss; he said that now I was going to look like a Barbie.
Dr. Pompa came in to check on me and the last day she went over the rules; very strict. Made sure I understood everything. The staff was very professional with a honey atmosphere. They answered all my questions and concerns. LIMARP surgical unit not only took care of me but my husband as well. The procedure was explained to me in great detail. Since being a heart and diabetic patient they were very through with me.
The day and night staff were very friendly always stopping in to check on me and listening to any questions or concerns. I would recommend LIMARP to anyone that needs metabolic surgery. The whole stay was great. I would go to LIMARP in heart beat. From the first phone call I made inquiring about LIMARP to my last visit with them was great. They are very friendly, informative and caring; they made sure my husband was taken care of as well."
